Features of Theruptor™ NXT

3D hydrocellular matrix – Keeps the wound optimally moist by effective exudate management. Allows the wound to breathe easy and hence helps in safe healing.

Patented DTAC technology – Unique technology that uses persistent physical kill mechanism without diffusing/permeating into the wound. Resulting in potent (99.99%) microbicidal action.

Transparent waterproof film – Acts as a barrier to external environment and also allows adequate gaseous exchange. This permits patients to bathe/ use bath wipes to stay clean, as well as allows the wound to breathe.

Non-adherent porous layer – Contact surface does not stick to the wound ensuring minimal pain during dressing changes or removal.

  • It consists of polyethylene terephthalate (90% w/w) and polyurethane (10%w/w) with a permanently bound “Dimethyl tetradecyl [3- (trimethoxysilyl)propyl] ammonium chloride” (DTAC) at a concentration of 1% w/w
  • The unique knitting process of polyethylene terephthalate (90% w/w) and polyurethane (10% w/w) provides a 3-Dimensional Hydrocellular structure for the dressing
  • Permanently bonded DTAC on the 3-D composite microbicidal wound dressing creates positively charged cations which will cause lysis of gram positive bacteria, gram negative bacteria and fungi. It provides protection against a broad spectrum of pathogens for a wide-ranging time period i.e., 30 minutes to 7 days
  • Available in various sizes ranging from 6cm to 22cm in length, and 7cm to 35cm in width
  • Available in square, rectangular, circular, oval and sacrum shape
